Trainings
Learning to apply IEMT can take different forms — from self-study at your own pace to multi-day in-person with personal guidance. Which form fits depends on what you want to be able to do in your practice and whether certification via The Association for IEMT Practitioners matters to you.
For practitioners who already work with clients — coaches, therapists, counsellors and trainers with at least two years of working experience — and who want to learn to apply IEMT methodically alongside their existing approach. The training is designed for participants with their own practice — IEMT is too application-specific to learn without one.
Don't yet have your own practice but want to learn IEMT in preparation? That's open to discussion. In an introductory call we can talk through the options — for this situation, the with guidance variant usually fits best, because the transition into your own future practice is then personally supported.
For the live trainings, the official Association certification criteria do not impose a prior-education requirement — selection lies with me as trainer. For Advanced, a completed Practitioner certification (own or a recognised equivalent) is required.
IEMT TRAINING · CONTENT
Six components of Integral Eye Movement Technique. Not separate techniques — a working whole you take into your own practice.
DIAGNOSTIC LAYER
Recognising what holds a pattern in place — before you reach for technique.
PROTOCOL · EMOTIONAL
Working with emotional charges that don't belong to the present situation.
PROTOCOL · IDENTITY
Working with patterns rooted at the identity level.
LENS · CLUSTERING
Reading how emotional states cluster and flow into each other under pressure.
COMPASS · BODY
Reading what the body shows during the work.
LINCHPIN · CORE
The core pattern that holds the whole together — the pin the rest turns around.
Status: in development. The online (self-study) version is currently being recorded and edited. Want to be notified once it becomes available? Notify me when available.
The variant will be the full Practitioner training, online, to be followed in your own time. For two kinds of users: those who want to explore what IEMT is before considering a live training, and those who have already followed the live training and use the material as a reference.
What you get: all theory blocks, all demonstrations and the curriculum (Part 1 — Emotional Engineering, Part 2 — Identity Reimprinting), including the three observation models that steer every session (Patterns of Chronicity, Three Pillars, PSACs) and Lynchpin work as depth for trauma imprints. What you don't get: the live practice trios, observation by me or a certification track. That is not an omission — the official criteria explicitly exclude pre-recorded sessions from the certification path.
If you want to certify later anyway: mention this in the introductory call once the online (self-study) version is running. The live training is then available at a discount, since you already know the material.
The full Practitioner training, taught live via a secure video connection. Multiple sessions spread over several weeks. During each session we work in trios: one in the practitioner role, one in the client role, one in the observer role. Roles rotate per exercise.
Leads to certification via The Association for IEMT Practitioners on successful completion (two case studies + one video recording). Read about the certification criteria.
The blended form: fifteen hours live online for theory and a first round of practice, plus two in-person days where you practise in trios under my observation. Around twenty-seven hours in total — comparable to the fully in-person variant, with fewer travel days.
For those who want to combine the accessibility of online with the practice density that only in-person contact gives. The in-person days are where the calibration sits: reading body language, live debrief, repeated practice rounds.

The full Practitioner training, multi-day on location in Hoorn (central NL on request). Six to eighteen participants per group, with twelve as the optimum. The in-person form yields the sharpest learning: the client's body language — breathing, micro-tension around the eyes, posture — reads differently live than on camera, and the training room itself becomes part of the demonstration.

The flagship form. In-person training plus personal guidance between blocks. Maximum six participants, to keep individual coaching time adequate.
What's added on top of the in-person variant: six supervision hours between blocks where we discuss case material from your own practice. The transition from training to independent application is often the hardest step — this variant is built around it.

Deepening training for those who already hold the Practitioner certification (own or a recognised equivalent). Three days consecutive or six half-days, focused on Lynchpin work, more complex Patterns of Chronicity and case work within the coaching framework.
Six to eight participants per group — smaller than Practitioner, because case work requires more individual observation.
Deepening modules per theme, for alumni who want to go deeper on a single subject. On themes such as Patterns of Chronicity, Identity Pattern in complex form and the Three Pillars in case context.
Already running, free for alumni after completion: participation in the IEMT Oefengroep NL under The Association (monthly, 60 minutes, beginners and advanced welcome) and the WhatsApp community for day-to-day questions between sessions. For one-to-one deepening: supervision.
In development: alumni portal (materials, demonstrations, worked examples), monthly webinars, peer-group space and Refresher editions. Alumni receive notice when these go live.
On successful completion of a live training (online or in-person) and submission of two written case studies and one video recording of a session of around twenty minutes, you receive certification as IEMT Practitioner via The Association for IEMT Practitioners. I am an approved trainer with the Association: my training material and assessment approach have been inspected and approved by them.
On passing you gain access to the Association as an Associate member, with a free upgrade to Full membership.

Then you can turn to other approved trainers within The Association. I can warmly recommend Roni Matar and Andrew T. Austin — I have learned a lot from them.
Thirty minutes, no obligation. If you're unsure between variants, I'll think it through with you — what fits your starting point and the next available opportunity.
